My Favorite Makeup Products For Autumn
Hey everyone! I hope you're having a great week. Now that we're in the middle of September I think we can officially declare that fall has arrived! This time of year in New York is my favorite and when autumn comes around one of the things that I always love to do is switch over my wardrobe by stashing the summer stuff away and bringing out the jackets and sweaters. And actually, the same thing goes for my makeup! There are definitely certain products I gravitate more to in the last few months of the year and I wanted to put together a list of my favorites for you. So none of these are super new, but when I think of autumn beauty I can't help but think of these.
1. OPI Nail Lacquer in Chick Flick Cherry
When it comes to nails, I love a moment of red. This OPI nail lacquer has a deep red tone to it and it looks so gorgeous on. Any warm color for fall makes me very happy and this is one of my go-tos for this season.
2. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Aria
This fuchsia lip color may seem like an odd choice for autumn, but trust me on this. When you have an outfit with black, grey, or white, this is a fun way to add color and make your look stand out. Plus, the Stay All Day formula is amazing and really stays on.
3. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder in Natural
This is truly the ultimate powder. I am still currently a fan of the dewy look but when you want to transition your look for autumn, you're going to want this powder in your makeup bag. It's perfect for absorbing shine on the forehead and chin areas and one swipe of the powder under your eyes will keep your concealer in place for hours.
4. Charlotte Tillbury Eyeshadow Eyes to Mesmerise in Marie Antoinette
This is one of the only single eyeshadows that I own and that's because it is truly amazing. The creamy formula and the shimmery color is so gorgeous. Apply a light layer for a bit of sheen or multiple layers for a dramatic look.
5. Nars Lip Pencil in Mysterious Red
This lip color is a dream. It's slightly more on the darker scale of reds, which makes it a great option for autumn. Just swipe on some mascara and add a bit of highlighter and you're good to go!
6. Bite Beauty Prismatic Lip Gloss in Oyster Pearl
Bite is a company that definitely knows what they're doing. This prismatic lip gloss is amazing and the iridescent color is perfect for a mystical autumn night.
7. Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Eyeshadow Palette
Okay now THIS is possibly the most autumn-y thing in this whole batch. I had my hesitations about going in on this palette but let me tell you I have loved it since I got it. The pigmentation is amazing and I love the colors. Here's a similar one if you're a Sephora shopper.
