Lately, there's always a moment in the late afternoon where the light hits everything perfectly. I try to walk home at this time so I can watch the sun start to set over the Hudson. The spring weather has brought about positive changes for me all around. Like, escaping the clutches of skinny jeans for a moment was a particularly good call. The warmer weather calls for palazzo pants and crop tops and festival season is so close I can taste it. I figured I'd balance out these scene-stealing pants with a black crop top and a long pendant necklace and instead of opting for a more festival-y shoe, I went for these platform sandals as a New York signature. This outfit almost makes me forget about my remaining finals- I can't believe junior year is coming to a close! I learned a lot this year but the best thing I learned (which I sort of already knew) was to take chances. Show up to events you wouldn't normally go to, sign up for clubs you wouldn't have thought to join and reach out to people who you want to get to know better. Oh, and be yourself because odds are you're awesome.
