There's something to be said for getting off campus. No seriously- some people think being a college student in NYC is all fun and games. And while I'm really good at making it look like it is on Instagram, sometimes it's hard to follow through on seemingly well-laid plans like "Let's check out that cute coffee shop and bring some work with us," or "We could walk around the Lower East Side and take cute photos" when things like internships and assignments seem to take priority. Well I did not just one but both of those things and even managed to coordinate with other humans (shout out to Shannon and Nora for being my fellow adventurers). Bonus points to us for executing this on the nicest day of the year so far and ending the day with dim sum in Chinatown.
