How To Wear Burgundy This Fall

As a certain beloved television series will tell you (Gossip Girl, of course) there is nothing like autumn in New York. And let me tell you, autumn is settling into Manhattan just the way I hoped it would. With perfect breezes, sunny skies and mornings filled with apple and pumpkin flavored drinks this is undoubtedly my favorite season.

I've been going a little overboard on the burgundy as I'm sure you know from my Instagram but then again, you can never ever have too much burgundy. This is one of those not really a dress but not really a shirt situations from Free People so I added a leather mini as another layer underneath and grabbed my beloved shaggy jacket to throw over it. I actually liked wearing a top and bottom in the same color because I could offset it with the black jacket.
