Halloween may look different this year, but I will always be excited for any and all ways to celebrate. If you’re planning a Halloween celebration over Zoom, you should definitely be prepared with an awesome Halloween makeup look. I’m partnering with Walmart Beauty to show you an easy-to-recreate look that will wow.

The best part about Walmart Beauty has to be their selection. They have every product you could possibly want and several hundred you probably didn’t even know existed. You could scroll for hours and find tons of products that perform at accessible prices. They have so many incredible brands to choose from, but if you don’t want to worry about choosing you can get the Walmart Halloween Beauty Box.

The box I received came with items that instantly sparked beauty inspiration. When I saw the eye shadow quad, the red lipstick and the winged eyeliner I felt instantly thought tons of ideas for looks I could create.

I thought about maybe doing a deer or a leopard look or even some kind of vampy, spooky look. I ultimately settled on going for a Pop Art inspired makeup look. I was an art history major in college and loved the ‘60s especially so I thought it would be fun to try this out. I’ll walk you through exactly how I got this look.

Step by Step Tutorial:

  1. First do your makeup base as you normally would

  2. Create a smokey eye with brown shadows

  3. Add liquid highlighter to the high points of your face

  4. Use a black liquid eyeliner to create a wing on both eyes

  5. Take the same liquid eyeliner and trace an outline around your face. You can go back and increase the thickness later

  6. Using a red lipstick create dots on your face

  7. Apply red lipstick to your lips as normal

  8. Continue using the black eyeliner to create lines

The payoff from this Revlon eye shadow quad is insane and it costs less than my chai tea latte order. I knew that the Hard Candy liquid liner was going to be a big part of the look especially with all of the outlining details. The pigmentation was really great and helped add boldness to the overall look. A bold red lip is a statement any time of the year but the Red Haute shade of this NYX Lipstick was truly next level. I also used it to create the dots on my face to give me that Pop Art look.

You don’t need to be a makeup artist or a have a ton of products to create a fun look! I was able to create this using a few key products from the beauty box. The best part? It included a Neutrogena Makeup Remover Single Cloth (you can throw them in your purse so you’re never without one) so taking the makeup off was quick and easy. You can sign up and get a new box every season.
