When I first heard about the Michelle Take Aim challenge, it seemed easy enough: upload iPhone photos of yourself to Instagram where you are smiling and looking at the camera and try to keep them as in the moment as possible.
Five years ago on this exact day, I finally moved to New York City, something I’d been dreaming about doing for as long as I could remember. Growing up in the New Jersey suburbs, New York always felt like the place I would end up.
I think I'll always have a fascination with interiors. I remember watching HGTV growing up, reading books on interior decorating and constantly re-arranging my bedroom to see the best way for all of the furniture to fit in.

As you know, I love scrolling through the interiors pages of Pinterest.
