8 More Beauty Products I’m Dying To Try

image2.png

If you remember back in January, I did a post just like this one about a bunch of beauty products that I could not stop thinking about. And now as my imaginary Sephora cart fills up again, I have to talk through some of the things that have caught my attention in the last couple of weeks. These are all products that I’ve heard about that sound cool, but that I haven’t yet shelled out cash for. Unlike clothing, which I usually have very strong reactions about one way or another, beauty purchases take a little longer for me to decide on and I’ll sometimes obsess over a product for weeks before actually trying it out. I’ve teamed up once again with the fabulous Dakota Scarlett to share with you the eight products that I’ve caught myself thinking about over the last few weeks.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Mask, $45

I keep seeing this mask appear EVERYWHERE from the top beauty websites to my friends Instastories and I have to admit the curiosity about this overnight mask is absolutely killing me. I generally prefer masks from a pot to sheet masks (although sheet masks are perfect for traveling) so to have another luxurious treatment in my roster would make me very happy indeed.

Fresh Beauty Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream, $40

At this point I think we all know that I’m in a pretty committed relationship with Glossier’s Rich Priming Moisturizer and there are probably only a handful of other moisturizers I’d even consider flirting with. But this is one of them. I tried the tiniest sample of this Fresh Beauty cream on the back of my hand in Sephora the other day and it was so moisturizing without being sticky or shiny that it actually gave me butterflies. Talk about a serious crush.

Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick in Vanilla, $46

I’ll admit it’s been a minute since I’ve tried a stick foundation but after hearing about the Hourglass Vanish formula, I’m very intrigued. This product is available in tons of different shades and twists up almost like a lipstick for you to apply the shade to your face directly and then blend with a brush or a sponge. As the name suggested, once blended this product gives you that airbrushed look.

Marc Jacobs Shameless Youthful Look 24 hour Foundation in Light R230, $46

It’s rare that I get excited for foundation launches (if you’ve been here for awhile you know that tinted moisturizers are the way to my heart), but everyone seems so enamored with the latest from Marc Jacobs that I also would love to test this out for myself. The formula is supposed to be amazing and with all-day wear and SPF 25, it sounds very hard to resist.

Kylie Cosmetics Weather Collection Highlighter Palette, $44

I’ve only made one Kylie Cosmetics purchase to date—the Burgundy palette. And I have no regrets. I’ve never actually tried her Lip Kits or other makeup but I will admit that the Weather Collection inspired by her newborn daughter Stormi caught my eye. The eyeshadow palettes are a bit much for me, but those Kylighters...WOW. As much as I love a good highlight I pretty much always turn to my Becca Cosmetics Prosecco Pop or my Glossier Haloscope, so you can say I’m feeling v tempted to try all four of the shades in this latest Kylie launch.

Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer, $21

I’m a pretty loyal user of Urban Decay’s Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion, but I think it’s partially because I haven’t tried anything else! Whenever I get lost in a deep dive of YouTube videos I like to see what my friends use and Kelsey O’Brien of Blondes & Bagels raves about this Smashbox primer on her channel. I think that once I finish my latest tube of UD’s I’ll switch it up and check this one out.

Urban Decay Backtalk Palette, $46

You know I love a good Urban Decay palette as much as the next girl (the Naked2 palette has been in my makeup bag for five years and counting!) so when I heard that the brand was releasing a limited edition eye and cheek palette on Sephora, I freaked out. I haven’t treated myself to a new palette in a while, and have pretty much abandoned blushes entirely since I used to buy the individual shades from CoverGirl in the drugstore, so to update my Grown Up Person collection with these dreamy rosy shades would definitely be a good move, right?!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam, $42

If you’re sensing a pattern of me being madly in love with warm-toned eyeshadow palettes, then you are very perceptive. I just made my first ABH purchase in the form of Brow Wiz in the shade taupe, which I’ve been loving along with my ride or die Boy Brow. When I saw this palette on Instagram, I think I squealed out loud on the subway. I’ve talked myself out of their Modern Renaissance palette because I think realistically there weren’t enough colors that I’d wear on a day-to-day basis. But there’s no talking me out of this one!
