Comfortable & Chic Black Shoes to Wear During Winter

I am whole-heartedly convinced that my wardrobe could be composed of one color and I would be completely satisfied. This also applies to shoes, so I thought I'd turn the spotlight away from the clothes this week and focus on what grounds the outfits. So, here are the 5 black winter shoes that I'll be keeping at the front of my closet for the next few months:

1) Minimal Lace Up Heel (Jeffery Campbell x Free People

These are truly the most comfortable heels I’ve ever owned. From their black lace-up design to their block heel I’ve worn these with cute socks or with nothing on warmer winter days and I always get compliments on them.

2) The Stylish Rain/Snow/Inclement Weather Boot (Hunter x Rag & Bone)

I remember being over the moon when I found these because the traditional Hunter boots were a bit on the tall side for me but others seemed too short. This pair created in collaboration with Rag & Bone is perfect.

3) The Cut-Out Boot (Jeffery Campbell

Don't wear these when it snows because there are holes on the side but for a quiet day exploring a museum or drinking hot chocolate inside with your friends these black cutout boots are sure to make a statement.

4) The Winter Wedge (Dolce Vita)

For any fancy holiday gatherings or if you just feel like getting dressed up this sturdy pair of black wedges will keep you going all night long.

5) The New Combat Boot (Dolce Vita)

A bit of an upgrade to the classic combat boot, these black boots from Dolce Vita are perfect with the right amount of buckles and laces and the small heel for a bit of extra height.
