Hey everyone, I hope you’re all having an awesome week! I am writing to you from Thailand I was just sitting in my apartment a few days back, minding my own business and I suddenly felt the urge to take a shower. There wasn’t a real need for me to, but it occurred to me that lately I’ve stepped up my shower routine game so much that I just wanted to take one because of that! So, if you’re looking to make your shower a little more luxurious, here are some things that have really changed mine!
I was introduced to Shhhower Cap by my friend who does PR for them and I’m actually genuinely obsessed. I love second-day hair and I can often create some cool styles with it, but there are definitely times when I need to shower without wanting to wash my hair. So yes, I can use a plastic-y shower cap, or I can use this. It has a turban-style design and comes in tons of cool prints on water-resistant fabric, so I actually feel fashionable when I’m showering, something I didn’t think was possible. Also, it doesn’t hold onto water at all. I removed it after using it for the first time and went to shake it off and there was barely any water on it.
Glossier Body Hero Daily Oil Wash
If you already read my post about Glossier’s Body Hero products, I don’t need to go into too much detail here. What I will tell you is that this oil is so thick and wonderful without being sticky, and applying it after body wash makes me feel like I’m giving my skin a truly luxurious treatment. If you’re looking to make your shower a little fancier, this is definitely something to add to your routine.
Epicuren Discover Brown Sugar Polish
I’d never heard of this brand before, but I got sent this body scrub and I am now obsessed. The timing of me receiving this is perfect because it smells like Christmas cookies and wow am I ready for the holidays. It looks like brown sugar, and all you have to do is scoop it up and rub it into any parts of your body that feel a little rough and it makes them feel so smooth and buttery...am I just hungry from all of this cookie talk? I can’t tell. Anyway, this stuff is good.
BIC Silky Touch Women’s Razors
This may sound a little silly, but for a long time I was paying (what felt like a ton of money) for fancy razor heads that actually didn’t do that good of a job. Out of desperation one day maybe two years ago, I bought a pack of these at the drugstore because they didn’t have my usual razors, and I’ve never looked back. They’re disposable so you can refresh them when you need to and they just get the job done. Cheers to simplicity.
