When January comes along it's easy to just want to hide under a blanket and call it quits on all outfit planning. The perfect comfy pair of skinnies can be dressed up with a silky camisole to keep an outfit cozy and chic at the same time. The fluffy topper of this look makes it seasonally appropriate and takes it up a notch from a basic tank and jeans combo. I opted for a different eye makeup today (omitting my usual eyeliner) and went for a more dramatic lip and a second coat of mascara. Regardless of whether or not velvet platform sandals go with this outfit, I felt like a rockstar in them. And isn't that really all that matters?
